“The Jardins de l’Orne project? It’s the perfect opportunity to give back to Mont-Saint-Guibert the use of a significant portion of its land located right next to downtown. In practice? We rehabilitated many hectares of polluted, concrete covered and abandoned land. The result is sustainable, eco-responsible construction.

The Jardins de l’Orne site is completely nature oriented. It promotes mobility, conservation and the development of existing biotopes. Even better: it consists of energy-efficient buildings which have been built with great care. Every building has energy (K30) and environmental (Ew80) performances well above legal requirements (K35-Ew80).

Level K: the overall K thermal insulation level is an indicator of the energy performance of the envelope of the volume protected.

Level E: The Ew level is the primary energy consumption level. It is calculated per PEB (Building Energy Performance) unit. It is the ratio between annual primary energy consumption of the unit (same calculation as used to determine specific consumption) and an annual primary energy consumption reference level multiplied by 100.
